Driveshafted

Hey guys I need some advice. I bought a wonderful driveshaft from a member in here and it has a 1.5" shaft that goes into the trans and mine had a 1 3/8". What can I do to make this all better?

Get the right driveshaft, ask for refund if seller specifically said it would work. This is going on an N/A engine I am guessing?

Refund, especially if you have the PM or email from him. Then get the right N/A driveshaft. He probably sent you the TII driveshaft. Paypal is good at getting your money back if he refuses.

Post a wanted ad in the classifieds if you can't find one from searching in there.

Oh and leave him bad feedback if you feel like it so everyone else knows not to buy from him or at least be cautious of buying from him.

I was assuming the OP's new driveshaft wouldn't fit into the transmission by the way he worded it. If it goes in on the splined end, it fits. If it doesn't go in, its the wrong driveshaft.

I don't think you can fit a 1.5 inch splined peg into a 1 3/8 inch splined hole.

is the driveshaft the same diameter on the body of it ( not the ends) , if so then maybe the seller sold you a automatic drive shaft

theres 3 types of drive shafts

na 5sp small front small body small rear
na auto large front small body small rear
t2 large front large body large rear.

not that this solves your problem... but for reference...
