Driveshaft compatability (searched)

Hey guys I was just wondering if an s4na and s5na drive shaft are they same length, and if they are interchangeable?

I was under the impression that all four versions of the fc had a different length (s4na, s4 tII, s5na, s5tII)

I searched but it seems as though most of the threads are only regarding tII-na rear ends.

Thanks,

-Miles

Are the S5 and S4 auto driveshafts not different lengths slightly?

My 88 vert driveshaft UJs went south, I managed to buy a used shaft from a friend and put that in.
I want to rebuild the UJs on the old shaft to have a spare shaft, but it seems you can't buy them anymore and I was directed to a machine shop which would bore out the yokes to accept a common replacement UJ set-up.
Is this common practice or can you buy replacement UJs to the originals?

there's a few writeups on this forum for replacing the u-joints. on all the RX7's they are staked to the shaft but can be replaced with some early model u-joints from the REPU for the turbo driveshafts, not sure what vehicle the n/a u-joints are from but there are some part #'s floating around also.

there is no stock replacement part # for these vehicles so this is a modification. it will require some machining/dremeling to get the old u-joints out.
