drive shaft compatible?

ok well i threw on my tii rear end. and my tii engine is in with tii trani. i am using a tii drive shaft.

problem is. the diff has a bolt and some threading in the center that sits inside the drive shaft. and my drive shaft doesnt have a deep enough hole to hold the bolt with the threading.
the n/a drive shaft is deeper . the n/a diff has the same size bolt and same amount of threading on it that is to sit inside the drive shaft.

whats the problem? is s4 and s5 drive shafts different?

see the threading that is threw the bolt. well the drive shaft has a slot for it in the center of the hub. my hub wont sit flush because its to shallow,

Im a little new to this, but I thought s4 and s5 t2 driveshafts were the same. Are you sure you have a t2 driveshaft and diff?

oh so your not positive? or you are. does the tii diff have a shorter threading for the bolt? because this rear end is lsd. and its a little larger then the n/a one. the tii one is a different gearing ratio then the na

the na was 3:1
the tii was about 3.5:1 or some thing like that

Check the driveshaft. See if the driveshaft mounting holes match up w/ the t2 diff mounting holes. The t2 diff flange has a bigger bolt pattern than n/a.

T2 driveshaft it beefier than an n/a.

"the na was 3:1. the tii was about 3.5:1 or some thing like that"

Automatics have a 3.9, N/A's and Turbo II's have a 4.1 and the GTU's and Inifini have a 4.33.
