The dreaded code 27 oil metering pump

Ok. i got my new engine put in. . . and then car starts to run like ****
well afterwards i do an engine diagnostic, and find out my oil metering pump took a **** on me
so i replace it and it still runs like **** cleared the codes and runs like **** again
code 27 still pops up
im ****** confused... the motor was supposed to go into a limp mode as soon as the omp went bad and once replaced and the codes cleared the car should come out of limp mode..
ok WTF?

Did you pull the negative terminal on the batter to reset the ECU?

Check the wiring... Check the voltages/resitances at the ecu...

When my OMP went, it took the ECU with it. Even when i got the replacement OMP that worked, the car still threw code 27 until i got another ECU.

You can ues any N/A ecu, you don't *have* to use a vert one. But, check the voltages/resistance at the ECU first before wasting money.
