down pipe????

where does the down pipe go and can you use one on an N/A (does it just get rid of the cats) ?????

There are turbo and non-turbo downpipes - it basically replaces the precat (or, in the NA's case, pre-cats).

Turbo and non-turbo parts aren't interchangeable.

For some pics and better info, look in the 2nd gen catalog at http://www.rx7.com - they have downpipes and the like for both turbo and non-turbo cars.

On a turbo it just goes from the turbo, down to the connecting pipe, then to the cat.

Ill look for a pic and post it in a few.

most people just say downpipe for an NA and dont mean a turbo downpipe they just mean a pipe that goes from your exhaust manifold to whatever your setup is

so is there anything to replace the pipe from a hedder all the way to the y pipe (no cats at all)

Ya thats your best bet for flames with not so much noise as with a header.
