door removal
What tools do I need to remove a door? i searched the forum but there's only a guide for 1st gen

you need a 12mm wrench, hammer and punch (or screw driver) and something to disconnect the wiring.
Step 1, open the door.
Step 2, under the dash are two connectors that go to the door, one is green, not sure about the second one, it might be green also. unplug these
Step 3, disconnect the wiring boot from the car, and pull the harness into the door jamb (there are a couple of tabs to depress i think)
Step 4, take your hammer and punch and drive out the little roll pin on the door checker. put the pin in a safe place, its a weird size.
Step 5, support the door, i put a rag on a floor jack and just roll it under the door.
Step 6, take the 12mm wrench and remove the bolts between the hinge and the door, these are the unpainted ones. (Mazda put the doors on after the interior was installed)
Step 7, that is it!
