Question Door Locks!

This is probably a really dumb question..but does ANYONE know where I can find new door lock mechanisms? I am sick of my car sitting in the parking lot unlocked ALL day. I woudl prefer local dealers (in live in CT) or websites.

Question Why don't you just get a replacement actuator from a wrecking yard?

I've done that several times, always not a problem. However, those things are pretty durable. You sure it's the actuator and not the switch in the drivers door inside door lock lever module?

If the actual metal part of the handle broke, then you need a new handle:

If the nylon clamp just popped open, then you can fix it yourself:

Springs

The part of the door lock is the spring for the lock. I do not have automatic door locks, so there is no technical stuff. I just need to find springs for it. Anyone help me!

Oh, you can get that from a salvage yard or even have another one made if you still have the old pieces. You can also check with your local Mazda dealership to see if they have it on the microfiche.
