Question door handle problem

I have found an 88 n/a rx7 that a guy is going to sale me. The only problem is both door handles are broke and the key is inside the car. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get inside. It is unlocked just broken handles.

Hire a locksmith ? Or find someone with a slim jim to open the locks , slim jim slides under the window to unlock the door, its basically a long flat metal tool.

Thanks, I'll let you know how it turns out. Hopefully I can get in without breaking any glass.

Huh? Slimjim is less than $10, and rx-7s are ridiculously easy to open... or at least that is what I thought when my driver's side door handle broke. But hey, whatever, if you like to break things..

If the keys are in it, and the door handles dont open. That kinda tells you a little about the car your about to buy. Almost seems like he doesnt treat it very well especially seeing as the keys are in it. But whatever might just be me.

I am buying it for a project car. So, mainly all I want is the body. Which is in near perfect condition other than the paint(red) is faded. He says it will run but floods really bad. He only wants $800 for it. Thanks for looking out though.

Ok I have an idea

Drill a hole in the handle, cut out a portion of the handle with a jigsaw and pull the rod to open the door.

What kind of car are you junking in bowling green by the way? Is it NA or turbo?
