Don't understand this

Alright I attached a pic of a defi boost gauge that reads in psi. What I don't understand is between every 5psi there are 4 marks. Doesn't make any sense to me. I keep going back and forth between GReddy and Defi gauges. Man...was gunna order them right now too.

Ya you see 3 marks, but there are 4 "spaces." If you count from the 20psi mark, there are 4 spaces until you get to 25psi. What is up with that?

Because the psi not shown is in the space between the marks, let |x| resemble the spaces.

20 |21| |22| |23| |24| 25

Get it?

Josepi...If ur rite...that is not very consistent on their part. I mean why would 20 and 25 psi be represented by a line, while 21, 22, 23,24 psi be represented by a space. No consistensy, and confusing too.

I've discovered in my 23 years of existence, that nothing is consistent, nor logical.

I was going to order this gauge but without a peak/hold feature I need to be able to clearly make out what boost I am making. Hmmm...does anyone have any pics of a 60mm gauge mounted somewhere besides the a pillar?

It all makes sense. The distance from each mark is 1.25 psi. 20.00, 21.25, 22.5, 23.75, 25.00. Why they did it this way, I don't know.

Personally I think that this statement is an oximoron(sp?)

I think the most important question is why Defi feels we all need a boost gauge that reads to 35psi!
