Does the rear rotor break more often that the front?

Is the rear rotor more prone to break than the front?

Why is this? Hotter being father back? Coolant hit rear rotor last?

well in absence of hard facts we can make a number of observations.
1. yes, the coolant hits #1 rotor first
2. the rear rotor on 12a's runs leaner with a bad shutter valve (vacuum leak)
3. its closer to the firewall and the tranny/clutch
4. the rear rotor maybe gets more loading from the clutch/flywheel, we know the rear main bearing wears faster than the front

From wht i have heard and seen on s4 the rear rotor goes out and on s5 the front goes out more often. Weird, this is just my observation so if you have a different observation please speak up.

On turbo FC's fuel-cut in an overboost situation is performed on the rear rotor. I imagine that could lead to a lean a/f ratio and thusly a big *pop*.
