Hi, when I got my TII, the previous owner said I needed to fix the wiring for the passenger window switch.

So I pulled it out and all the wires were apart. I think I soldered them correctly but wanted to make sure with you guys if the wires match up ok and not crossmatched or anything like that. I'll wrap some electrical tape as soon as I get a confirmation.

Let me know, thanks. Don't want to fry anything in my electrical system before I plug it back in.

I wouldn't use electrical tape for this application.. I woudl get some heat shrink..

But to install heat shrink to cover the wires, you have to slip it over the wire before you solder it.

Dang - I had a switch around here and I was going to tell you if it's right... now I gotta look for it..

****, id still use electrical tape, people sometimes forget that electrical tape is ok to use by law on a wide range of electrical applications, this low voltage/low amperage application should be fine. Though yeah it might be sticky later on, whose taking out out again if you do it right correct? F it, just heat shrink it

It can ground out to the door panel if the tape comes loose

then youll blow fuses all the time and think "wtf - why do I keep blowing fuses"

Rotory, nah, it was more like around 1AM.

Thanks guys, I'll unsolder it and get some heatshrink. Should only take a few minutes.

But does anyone know if the wiring is ok?

If you asked 2 days ago I could have told you. I resoldered my power window plug because my fat fingered friend broke off the solder when unplugging it.
