If you do, what are your feelings on it and do you have any pics of it in your car?
Thanks,
Amanda

The Blitz uses a stainless steel mesh as it's filtration element - it does a horrible job of filtering.

If you want something cheap, you can get cone intakes all day long on Ebay for $20. If you want something of better quality, the Apexi air filter is of top-notch quality.

They just want to much money for the quality. I think almost all the name brand air filters are over priced. for decent quality at a great price i would go with a K&N Cone. If you have money to burn the Apexi will burn it well. If you use the propper cleaning techniques & sprays on a generic or a K&N it will do a great job & save you alot of cash.

If your looking for all out performance .. look for a cone filter with a opening in the top also. Thats what i run.

Thanks dcfc3s, right now I have a K&N cone filter and I am looking for one that is 'top-notch quality'. I'd still like to have the opinion from someone who has this kit though.

Someone might have that link I saw a while back .. where they tested all the cone filters. It was pretty interesting .. I don't remember all the results .. but if you can find that link it will give you the info you need.

Performance gains from an intake are all virtually the same. Only difference is in how well a filter actually filters. You are paying for a name brand basically. So you can say "I have a Blitz intake." You can buy an ebay intake and you won't notice any difference.

I don't have a K & N ... i got my air filter from a Honda ricer shop in Sacramento .. It's a "thunder" somthing .. I belive .. I was just very impressed with the air flow .. They hooked up my old cone filter on one of there Honda's and said "listen" I could hear ai r.. but not much... then they hooked up there shop's favorate performace filter .. and it was like day and nite .. that thing sucked air beter than any vacuum I have ever seen .. I think its do in most part to being open on the top also .. Now, its prolly not the best at traping dirt ... but I clean it regularly .. and use a good qaulity spray on it. I was looking for all out performance. Plus i don't live in a very dusty area...

Yeah you dont have to get an apexi just get that style -dry mesh -honestly i dont think anyone could tell you the difference from that and wet mesh so youll probally get a k&n style filter

Amanda, the Factory intake box with K&N replacement filter is probably the best since ur car is N/A.... It draws in cold air...... unless the other K&N cone (FIPK) draw cold air..........

I used to own a FC when I was around ur age.....
