DO rear WheelBearings and Axels have a diffrent Sound when they are about to go out?

Do rear wheel bearings..and rear axle's have a diffrent sound when they are about to go out? I got a new wheelbearing and im about to get it replaced. But im fearing it could be the axle. Right now im HEaring a tone more like a Drone.,.

If they sound different, they ARE gone out.
Be more specific in describing your sound... under what conditions does it occur? Have you made any recent changes to your car?

I think its the wheel bearing on the rear passenger wheel..When i am making a left turn the sound go's away... but comes back when going striaght. Not sure what sound axls make when they go out so im not sure exactly what it could be

not trying to jack your thread....If i pull out the wheel bearings how can i check if there good?
