do I install suspension myself?
I got some new kyb's and springs.
Im wondering if I should just rent a spring compressor and tackle the project myself and maybe a friend.
Maybe someone whos replaced their own suspension can tell me if its to much of a pain in the *** or not.
thanks

It's pretty easy. Shouldn't take more than 2 - 3 hours if you have air tools, even if you dont have much expirience working on the car. The hardest part will be getting the bolt holding the pillow mout and spring on the rear shock. I say go for it, just becarful and don't kill yourself with a spring.

R/R the equipment yourself. But it is usually easier to take the shocks to a garage that has a spring compressor to get the springs off. I think I paid like $20 to have all four springs removed and new ones put on.

Ive installed kyb shocks with eibach springs on my 4 door accord
It took me a my buddy 7 hours to complete.
We had no air tools, mostly SEA tools, did it in the winter of last year so there was many breaks due to the cold.
The job it self is pretty easy the key is the tools. It would be best to have a lift, air tools, power tools whatever just the right tools or else youll be pulling a 7 hour job like me and my buddy and not be able to walk for a few days
Dont even bother if you dont have the tools just take it to a shop its not worth the labor

Do it
I just got done doing my springs and kyb's. They're easy, man. The front and back each took about an hour and a half, and that's while we (two of us) attacked a pizza too. I did this too my integra too, and it was a little more difficult than my TII. Go for it man, you'll have some fun...and save some good money too.

Do not do what TX RX- is recommending.
There is alot of stored energy in a compressed spring, rent or buy a real spring compressor or take it somewhere to be done.
