HKS and K&N both make intake kits for our cars. But they pretty much replace the stock air boxes with cone filters. If you're talking about cold air intake boxes then no one makes them unless you get one fabbed.

Not true. Mariah Motorsports (http://www.mariahmotorsports.com) makes one. But if you search for cold air box with the search function you will get a bunch of ideas and pics.

Vinspeed's airbox is REAL nice. Aluminum with a hood seal and he will custom modify to fit about any aplication. Not to mention, his prices are REAL reasonable. You still have to buy like an HKS filter setup or something though. His set up works best with a headlight cover vent as well...

You only have to buy a HKS style box if you want a HKS style filter. You can use anything on his airboxes, you have to sell Vince however.

His setup though heatsoaks, doesn't draw in any cool air, and is pretty much pointless . You need to modify your headlight for the GregW headlight to work, but I don't know how much of gain that'll be.

Either custom a fenderwell OR make a sealed cold air box with an inlet for cold air.

i would also say go with the Prelude intake mod if your looking for a CAI that goes out of the engine bay...but if you dont want to cut your frame, you can try the cold air box w/ a headlight scoop.

You guys say the vinspeed doesn't work.... I'm not sure what you mean. As in it doesn't work to bring in cool air? Or is it just because it heatsoaks?

I had always thought of getting one since it's pretty cheap then cutting a hole in the bottom for a pipe to bring some cold air in through...
