ive got a 86 gxl auto and it pretty much sucks from a stand still. Is this all of them or do I have a problem.

 

Auto trannies suck period......unless it is a big truck or a roadtrip car...........swap it out for a 5 speed.....

 

after driving other rx7s, my auto has been renamed "power killer'

 

they sure do

 

but... you should have sufficient power in 1st gear to move and go...if not you probably blew first gear and are trying to take off in 2nd or third. And take it from my experience THAT DOES SUCK, and is slow as hell!!
