im looking for the wire that is jooked up to the dimmer switch so I can hook up my gauges to it. I thought it was the red with the black stripe, but its not. I havew it hooked up to red with back right now,a nd its on when the headlights are on, but turns off If I turn the engine on :P so yeah, which wire?

Red/Green at the light switch is the dimmer wire.

Red/black is the parking light wire. But sounds like you are not on the right wire if it turns off when the engine is running

im working with the harness that comes down from the light switch,a nd has the coinnectors near the CPU. There are those two big harnesses that connect right by the hood release latch. I guess I wont be using that red/black. Does anyone know what colour the wire that goes to the cigarette lighter light is? I believe it dims...

How about adding some wiring schematics for the EGI EMISSIONS AND CONTROL UNIT?????? In other words the wiring for the fuel injectors and Main Relay?

I didn't see the fuel injectors in the downloads or other items. It might be because I'm not viewing the photo album right.

Anyway, I decided the better way was to spend 14 bucks with ALLDATA.COM and download the diagrams from there, which I'm doing.

My ignorance. It seems series five title the diagrams different. On a series four it would be called EGI EMISSIONS CONTROL or something similar.
