wow... check this **** out ... my key is 6968... cool i guess...
**** all the people who believe that the AE should be kept stock. Everyone has their own right to do what ever the want to their cars. That's what makes this country such a great place. I'll do what i please to my AE. I'm sure most AE owners would say the same thing. Hell i was just looking for a TII, and happened to find a great AE.

the 10AE is over glorified in general. everyone talks about it like its some super FC, but its just a TII with a black interior and some special things others didnt have.

I think if someone has a really low mileage 10th AE, it should be kept stock. But mines is salvaged title (engine fire) and 120K miles on it. Its not really going to be worth much so I will probably modify mines down the road.

i figured it was, but since you didn't make it obvious a newbie might not realize that.

Also, I have a 10th that looks like crap and I intend to alter it. I'll keep it white and put the badges back on though.

Hmmnn... that's interesting cause all 1997 Supra Turbo and non-Turbo models were considered 15th Anniversary Limited Edition... and Toyota sales for the 1997 model Supras exceeded 1600.

Huh? Where are you getting your info from? The rarest Supra color was "Imperial Jade Mica" offered in 1998... the rarest Supra model would be the "1995 6-spd Turbo Hardtop", and did not come in RSP or Quick Silver.

I think the 10th AE should be kept in it's original condition if the thing is basically mint. I mean, I don't mind if you upgrade some of the parts on it, but I would hate for someone to ruin a perfectly good crystal white paint job by painting the car blue or something. I don't mind if you have a tired old 10th AE that needs a new engine or has bad paint or whatever and you wanna do some stuff to it. That's all find and dandy. I know for a fact mine would stay stock with the white paint and fender badges and interior but the engine would definitely get upgraded. No I would not be doing an engine swap or anything like that.

I have two ignition switches for my car (one's in a box, heh) I have the 10AE key for each of them.

One is numbered 6596 and the other one is 6963.

I bought my vert for over 5k. I bought my 10th AE for $400. I wonder what $4600 of mods would do to it???

Search for Project 10th AE Turbo II

I heard that the 10th AE had a hidden secret compartment (location known only by Felix Wankel) that only this special magic key would open that was just stuffed with Gold Dubloons!!! Anyone find it yet?

You guys crack me up sometimes

The differences between S4 and S5s have been covered a million times, but I'll add a couple of extra things: Turbo is different (kicks in @ lower RPM), flywheel is lighter, rims are different and lighter, cosmetic changes to front bumper cover, etc., ECU is different, intercooler is slightly different.

I don't have an AE, but I DID find Gold Dubloons hidden in my car.
