same car, just a few cosmetic differences. 89-91T2 are far more rare than AE's though. They made quite a few.

1500 10th anniv made.
Series 5 T2s are actually rare, not *** but worth more.

10AE came in crystal white, had body colored rub strips, mirrors, spoiler, wheels, and had all options (AC, leather, etc)

in addition to what Node said, the 10th Ann also came with a special "rotor" gold key, Momo steering wheel w/ 10th anniversary stitching, leather wrapped 89 style shifter and bronze tint on the front windsheld.

Too bad Mazda chickened out on making the anniversary edition special performance or mechanical wise. More power? Nicer wheels? Better suspension tuning? Alas, just an apperance package edition. Too bad.

I just bought one yesterday and here are the differences

Headlight water sprayers
bronze tint
white rims(they are acutally 2 less slots than the 87-88 Turbo II wheels)
Momo shift ****
Mono 10th anni steering wheel
10th anni floor mats
10th anni badging on both front fenders

*****one thing I noticed was where the sunroof control is there is a sliver peice with a mesh screen they are also located on each clothes hanger holder. Is this part of a rear view mirror system

Plus the monochromatic tailights surround (looks hot!!)

Rx7pimpin: Those wheels are the 88 wheels. In 87 they were 9 spokes, and in 88 they were all 7 spokes. The only difference between the 10AE and 88 was the fact that they were painted crystal white

Thumbs up factory alarm sensors!

I also own a 10th AE. The mesh little sensors on the mirror and the clothes hangers are the motion sensors for the factory alarm. I found out one day b/c I set the alarm and left the sunroof up on a windy day and my alarm kept falsing until I closed it. Thats when I realized thats what there for.....I really think that the all white look is very classy, but I did have to take and replace the white stock wheels w/ some 18' motegi rojas. There white w/ a 2' polished lip. Looks much better. So If you own one be glad b/c theres only one 10th anny, and many 89-91's.Don't get me wrong! Any style 7 is rare and if its a rotary it golden anyway..... roll out... 00RX7
