difference between s4 and s5 water pump and housing

Whats the difference between the S4 and S5 turbo water pump and housing? I was going to order one brand new from mazdatrix at 200 and 250 dollars respectivley.

So the ? is can I save the money and use the S4 part, And still have the belts line up with my S5 pullys and accessories? Or do I need to get the S5 part?

On a side note, it the only difference between the NA and t2 housings the turbo coolant return line to the lower part of the pump housing? If so it would be easy to plumb that into the NA housing, or cut and weld the lower outet between the NA and Cosmo stock housing?

Thanks...

Correct me if I'm wrong, didn't the s5 also come with a VDI while the s4 did not?

Yeah, but I don't think that matters for what he's asking.
The TII housings have a hole for the coolant return line, while the NA's dont. The NA housings also have a diffuser in the exhaust port.

if the pump bolt patern is different then wouldn't using the S-4 pump housing negate this? I thought all the rotary long blocks would accept any pump housing, am I wrong? Is there something else I'm not considering?

Sorry, I misunderstood you. I thought you were wondering about the rotor housings as well.

there somewhere?

How is the waterpump housing different because of the VDI, I searched the manual and examined the car and can't find any connection between the waterpump housing and VDI system.

Is there an addition sensor, or coolant line running to the VDI system hidden somewhere?

Ive never seen an S5 turbo motor up close, it has no VDI correct?

thanks,,
