Ok... its been six months, after reinstallion of everything, she popped off in less than a half-crank

so... everything i did:
Auto to manual conversion
Remove air pump, power steering, air compressor
TB Mod
Efan
EDIT: also did FD alternator swap
EDIT: also replaced all 4 brake calipers, rotors, and pads

Problem: Car starts up right away if you tap the gas and ger her going. Otherwise, startign w/o gas pedal down some, she cranks, catches, and then sputs out a in a second.

I can keep the car going with no problem, but only above 4k rpm. The car will not run on its own, and requires the gas pedal to be pressed down slightly. She doesn't hold a constant rpm awhen you hold the pedal steady. Don't hold it far enough down = rpms drop below 4k, and have to pump to get them back up. Pedal down enough= rms slowly increase from 4k to 5k, after which it stumbles back down, and you have to move the pedal to stop the stumble.

So whats the ideas?

I haven't checked the tps: Can't seem to find the FAQ/How to for the S5
I haven't restabbed the CAS: how to?
I have blocked off all vac lines.
The pressure sensor is being connected to one of the three nipples in the TB.
I have disconnected the ECAT.
I have tried turning the screw at the top of the tb, doesnt seem to do much considering the car is at 4k or more...
And I know the plugs are fouled, I already bought a new set, but wanted to get the car running decent before i swapped them in...

So... what do I do?

sounds like a major vaccuum line. laugh at the stupidity but the same thing had me stumped for 3 days. the one i missed is the one below the air box i believe. somewhere in that vicinity.

There are the two on the tube thingie that goes from the TB to the AFM. I stuck a tube that connects to both of them so they are both capped off. I really think that I have everything capped off that needs to be.

Could any of the above thigns cause the car to do that, or is it mainly just a vac leak that could do it?

When I removed all the manifolds, I used new gaskets. I didnt't use gasket maker though... should have I, or would that even cause a difference?

Hmm Did you try fixing the idle on the TB. It's said that the idle and stuff will be screwed up after doing to tb mod because you remove stuff from it's settings.

Other than that I think a Vac leak.

broke it down to bare block tonigh (removed manifolds, and alternator) and put it all back on. Went to start her up, and i have the same problem... I couldn't have missed a vac port this time, i was complete in making sure everyone was capped or had a place to go...

any other possibilities?

put the new plugs in. what do you mean restabbed the cas? if you just mean to out it in there correctly, you line uo the little dot on the gear with the arrow on the shaft, put the front pulley at the timing mark....(the yellow one i think, but not sure..night be the red) and just stick it in there.

i think you should hook up the boost sensor vacuum line to it's original postition, but i doubt it's causing that problem.
