Designed a Headlight Kit and looking for feed back.
well if the "company" is brain storm the frame work is top notch but the lights SUCK ***!. I got there kit and moded it to fit a 1st gen 7, the dam lights leaked water and got dirt on the inside. they use a h3 bulb and theres not a big selection of bulbs for that. I had 100 watt bulbs in and NEVER had to hit the high beams. but when i did WATCH OUT
im working on the 1st gen kits with hella lights.

Credit to this man is deserved. VERY few people in this industry have the guts to spend their own money on their own ideas.......ESPECIALLY RX7's. I give you props, tell you that the kit looks great, and wish you luck.
Count me in for one when its ready. I want to keep my FTPS, but they dont need to shine through, I just think the FC looks too much like a ford probe w/o them.
You all might scoff at h3 reound lights, but I have a set of APC $30 round h3 lights on my s-10 and I dont even need to use my headlights.

You guys have convinced me there is enough interest to at least cover my investment cost (worst case scenario) but realistically it's going to be sometime before the kit is ready. I'm at the mercy of the company that is making the metal parts for me. Every time I change even a small part of the design, it will take even longer to have the kit ready. I want to make sure this is a quality product before I offer them for sale. I don't want to do is sell a substandard product. Thanks for all the support and I will keep you guys posted.
On another note:
my hood scoop is not on the left side. It's in the middle of the hood because it is an aftermarket hood scoop (long story)

Damn I like...too bad they're not gonna be ready anytime soon...I'm in need of a replacement left headlight assembly to complete my repair job. What peices are replaced and/or retained in the conversion?
Heh - my car won't even be back on the road until at least fall, in all likelihood.
I'm glad to see someone working on projects like this for the second gen - given how many of us there are, and how much potential the car has, it's kind of sad how little aftermarket there is. Fortunately, some of the previously Japan-only stuff is showing up now, but their body stuff is $$$$$$$$$$$$$ a little pricey.
