Delrin / Diff + Subframe mount bushing questions
I have Delrin for the differential and sub-frame mounts in my 88 GTU. I hate them and want them replaced immediately as I can't stand the noise and vibration.
What is a good solid alternative for a 400+ hp FC?
Thanks,
~Jason

Those are motor mounts, not diff mounts. Granted those a pretty damn slick .... I might have to borrow that idea when I make mine
As for diff mounts you can always go to a softer material like poly, but it wont be as stiff so you will get some additional wheel hop compared to the solid ones.

Where you buy poly subframe and diff mounts?
MMR does not sell poly and neither does Banzai.
Mazdatrix no longer sells competition subframe mounts. No go for Racing Beat either.
I've done a search and everyone recommends MMR, but I have their mounts and hate them...too hard.

Yeah Delrin diff mounts can be irritating, but you might consider retaining them for the subframe bushings. That way you get good NVH drivetrain isolation at the differential, combined with the limited wheelhop/deflection at the relatively less sensitive subframe.
Of course, if you want a Lexus-like ride, stick with rubber.
