Dash vent 3d model

Hi guys,

I'm hoping to get back out into the garage and work on my car some more this year. One of the things I have always wanted to do was put in the dash vents under the windshield. I have never had those, and had to store the VIN tag elsewhere in the car (always got hassled when I got pulled over in college). Is there any way I can talk one of you into scanning or modelling a set of those that I could 3d print? I know there are likely a set of used ones somewhere, but they're probably pretty fragile from sunlight. I figured something like this, maybe some other plastic pieces would be good to have modelled in case someone on the forum needs new ones.

Have a good one

I could probably model one for you. Do you care about units? (cm, inches, mm).

Also, just to be clear, there are a few vents on the dash. You're talking about the triangle shaped ones next to the a pillar, correct?

I think OP is talking about the defroster vents, directly at the base of the windshield.

As J9 says, those are still available new OEM. Or you can get the LRB aluminium ones. I have them and they fit well, if you're okay with the shiny look. I may powder coat them someday soon.

Oh well nevermind! That'll be way easier than anything I come up with. Thanks a bunch!
