Cracked Dash
The top of my dash is cracked (on the ledge that extends over the instrument cluster). I have a dash matt, but I think that they look ugly. Can they be repaired? How hard/expensive would it be to remove it and replace it?

Personally, I plan on swapping mine out. I havn't figured out how to get the dash entirely out of my parts car yet though =)
I should have first hand experience perhaps after this coming weekend
Also, I believe there's a filler-compound that can be purchased. (Check someplace like Wal-Mart?) (I feel stupid, but, do you have Wal-Marts down there? =)
I suppose the idea behind the filler is to fill the cracks and then paint over?
Anyone know more about this?
Oh, and feel lucky that you only have one spot where there's cracks =)
(You should try picking up chicks in my car.... ugghhh) hehe

Thanks, I have never seen a wal-mart, so I gues we don't have them. Do you know what the filler compound is called.
I looked on mazdatrix site for the dash cover but they only seemed to have them for Left Hand Drive cars.
