Those two items are on the illum fuse's circuit. See if it is popped and diagnose from there.

from the FAQ for FC sticky thread:

My dash lights don't work
Did you check the dimmer control??? If you did and they still don't work the light switch connections may have burnt out. Check the back of the light switch.
did you not see that??? You always want to read the FAQ for FC sticky thread before posting

dont be so mean that doesnt answer much other then you need a new switch. but what caused the problem in the first place. or what if you want to bypass the switch and source it with another power source. thats a real answer. resolution to the problem .

well... if you looked in my profile and clicked"threads started by.." you will see that i just posted a new thread.

in doing so i am subject to people saying "why dont you use the search function" well i did. and what i found was most unhelpful. faq was most unhelpful too, but i'm looking to fix the issue with out frying another switch on accident. since i have a hidden issue going on some where that i cant identify yet.

there are tiny bulbs that illuminate the climate controls, these are usually blown.

You have to remove the unit and unscrew the face of it to access these little bulbs

they are plug in , not soldered

old post But a New Person(girl)
Ok, recheck the Fuses..the illumination and Room Fuses.
Sometimes the fuses just don't sit RIGHT in the Fuse box(drivers side Kick panel)
they won't contact right and whammo..no circuit.
even if the fuse LOOKS ok it may not BE ok.

no, i know i messed up the system. i didnt just have this happen out of the blue. it was an error i made. i already got my answer elseware luckly.. but caued more issues. i guess working in 80% humidity when its 100 degrees outside leads to human error... it really sucks but, itll be fixed soon
