Damn Oil injector?!!!!!!!

Thumbs down Damn Oil injector?!!!!!!!

after removing 3 of my oil injectors i get to the rear inner oil injector and that damn thing seems to be stuck.what does everyone use to remove their oil injectors.what options do i have to coax that liitle sucker out?




o yeah this is on a S4 (88) TII

The housing ones were a pain to remove. I took a junk 14mm wrench, shaved it down slightly on the sides (so it fit onto the nut), and used that. Try bumping it with a hammer, but be careful no to hit anything else. If you don't really care about the injectors, you can use a pair of channel-locks, but don't blame me when you break the nipple off or dent the diaphragm housing.

Yes, sounds like you have the old style muli-piece injector bolts. I would just use a pair of vice grips on it and replace it when you damage it with a new sytle one. Or the other guy's suggestion is good too, just sacrifice a wrench to the rotary gods.

I wrapped a rag around the injector and used visegrips .. they came off real easy with no Dmg.

a 3/4 inch box end standard wrench removes the injectors with no problem.

place the box end of the wrench over the injector and push.

Click...

Out it comes.
