Damn this cars cooling!!

ok so here is the deally.. my freaking car wont behave when it comes to overheating.. this is a fresh engine so RULE that out. it has about 10 k on it... i have a new fan clutch. and an electric fan that pulls 2200cfm. new koyo radiator (the big one) the water pump and water temp sensor are in question. the water pump had to suffer alof of block sealant from the last engiens failure... however.. am i wrong for thinkin that pup works or it doesnt? it has 13k on it, and it looked and rotated fine. i have bought a new mazda thermostat and i have switched them still same stupid overheating when sitting still(i think it will go off the gauge if i let it i wont i kill the car at 3/4ths high).. when i drive the car is fine. no water is lost. .... ok an hour later im finishing this post... with no electric fan the car runs hotter than ever even while moving.. what the hell is going on. the clutch fan just idles it barely turns.. its brand new... i think its bad now

You have air in your coolant system or Clutch fan is dead.

How are you running a clutch fan and an E-fan?

The pump can’t go bad it’s a direct pull fan the bearings will fail and leaks out the weep hole.

i took the e- fan off because the stock fan knocked my powerwires from my the fan(cutting the juice) it was a tight fit of a 3/8ths or soemthing the engine movement made that a no no that lasted for ten minutes(i never left the garage just revved to see if it would work it didnt.. so tommorow the 2200cfm efan goes on shroud may come off fan clutch is hitting the can..... later.... i could still run two fans if i wanted...... the stock **** is just that.....so i wont

I had to put my c-fan on with my e-fan this summer because my e-fan sucks and it has been hot as hell. Not a lot of room there but theres just enough. How thick is that Koyo?

You have a bad fan or cloged RAD or air in cooling system or blown coolant seals and I doubt that with a fresh motor.

You keep talking about switching between the stock fan and an e-fan; when you put the stock fan in do you also reinstall the stock fan shroud? Without the proper shroud the stock fan will suck (or not suck -- it will suck at sucking!)

generally

e-fan dont move as much air as a properly working clutch fan

my fan cools my car fine, and it could run at normal temp all day long in CA heat

look for clogged raditaor or something at that nature, because the stock fan is more than enoughf or you

You dont really need two fans?. The stock one you have is good enough with the koyo. I have it on my car and even with the A/C on on a very hott day its still way below the middle. Max i think it's around 80-85c--- 180-185degrees. Anyways Since you have changed almost everything on the cooling part. Why not change the water pump too. It only cost@$80.00-$140.00.. i can almost say that could be your problem. As for the e-fan. If you want to use that. Make sure you have the pull type not"PUSH"..Hope that help's

Robert....

^ The water pump cannot not work it is a direct drive. The bearings ware out and then they leak from the weep hole as I stated. Half way is normal op temps for a S5 he has yet to state what series he has.

But his problem is he has air in the cooling system or clogged RAD period. That is why it runs one time and not another it is not the fan.
