Damn, blown engine...
After all the great help I got in my previous "seized" thread, I was able to unseize the engine. Tell me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure the engine is blown:
After several cranks, the engine sputtered to life. It was vibrating badly and running LOUD as hell like a Harley! It couldn't idle on its own without cutting off. After it warmed up, I revved it up to 7k a few times. It was boosting normally but was popping and backfiring like crazy. I won't be doing a rebuild or swap until I get another car (240SX). Might be quite some time from now...
Damn!!!!!!!

ACK,

Racingbeat Springs
Grey leather/cloth rear seat
Autometer Boost gauge
Crystal headlights with bright white bulbs
10th Anniversary Specific Items:

other stuff is good

Now, if anyone is looking for any of these parts, PLEASE POST AN OFFER AND MAYBE I'LL CONSIDER PARTING OUT A PERFECTLY GOOD AE SHELL
. If someone local wants to throw me an offer for the shell, I'll consider it. My plan is to still keep the car and all parts.

Have you gotten down and dirty with it yet? Make sure your apex seals are in good shape. I suggest removing your leading spark plugs, and obtaining a small mirror and flashlight:
Position the mirror so it reflects the L spark hole. Now, shine the flashlight off the mirror. Using this technique, you should be get a glimpse into the spark plug holes.
Rotate the engine using the pulley system. With the mirror and flashlight, you should be able to peer into each rotor housing to see the apex seal as it swipes by. Do this for each housing, 3 times each. After you see one apex seal, go to the next housing, rotate few degrees more, and you should see another seal.
IF all 6 apex seals look bright and shiny, no cracks, then you are off to a good start.
Does the car still make power? Let me know if I can be of any more help sorry about the engine.

It's just going to be a while till I can have it rebuilt. I'm going to concentrate on getting a 240SX right now. I'm going to fix it up, but I won't modify the engine on that car though. I'm going to save up and have the engine rebuilt and street ported; probably at Mazdatrix. THE AE WILL RETURN.
