Cutting the OMP lines?

Before I drive a couple miles down the road I figured I'd go ahead and ask how hard it is to cut the OMP lines?
I don't need to explain this but I figure I will anyway.
I'm pissed off and the previous owner ran the OMP lines front of the water pump/housing.
I can't get to the OMP bolts to just remove the lines and the previous owner is also buying the car back and dropping a LS1 in it.
I hate that last part, but what I'm asking is if it is possible to cut the lines with a pair of wire cutters?
I know they are really flimsy but I didn't know how cut resistant the plastic is.

What is the point of cutting them?

Wire cutters will be fine.

Its plastic, and usually brittle. A razor knife will cut them but that not really a solution to anything.

Uh... So.. Don't sell it back to him?

Also poking the OMP lines will probably break them ^_-

if you bend them enough they will probably snap without the need of cutters.

and the OMP lines ARE supposed to be routed in front of the water pump.

Well, I learn something new everyday..... Thanks for informing me; that means that on my s5 they installed them wrong. I was just going by what I've seen.

My hands are huge and I can't get my hand down to remove the lines from the OMP so I can remove the water pump/housing.
The engine is trash and the guy isn't going to be putting another rotary in it.
I decided to cool off and wait until in the morning though.
Cutting them would solve the problem because I could pull the water pump and housing off.

Mine are stock and routed to the side of the water pump housing, near the front cover. S5 also.

If you just remove the afm then you can reach them pretty easily.

After you cut them.........don't complain about oil in the driveway after driving the car or oil in the pan going down rapidly.....relativly rapidly anyway.

This car is sold. The engine is trash. I'm not worried I was really just making sure it was easy to cut as it seemed.

That is how mine are routed as well.
On this s4 they are actually right in front of the water pump.
Not to the side.
It was more of a rage post to be honest. After working a week straight between jobs to get this ready to swap and then realizing I've got a s4 cover.....
First swaps are always a great time I suppose.

what i meant is on every series it requires removing the lines from the OMP to get the water pump housing out, which is what i assumed he needed to do otherwise they aren't in the way of anything except for removing the front cover.
