Why should someone supply you the information that spent hundreds of hours testing and verifying on the dyno and the racetrack?

2" tube diameter per rotor, try to go atleast 3" before the first bend, the longer the better, make a nice smooth bend.. and try to get both rotor runners the same lenth before joinng.. should be joining to a 2.5" or so pipe.. but your best bet would be to just make a downpipe from the exisiting mnanifold.

How do I suck by not divulging information that is propriatary to a PROVEN Design?

You can take an SDJ Header and compare it to anything on the market, Why does MAZDACOMP carry the SDJ Header? Because it works. Why does it work: A lot of years of Rotary Experience by one of the better engine builders out there, and a lot of dyno testing and track feedback. A LOT of ideas were tried and Failed, those failures did not come cheap either. Those answers already provided to you are common knowledge, and with that information you can create a common header and may or may not realize a power gain. Or you can pay the $$$ for a proven design.

2 pages of internet text will not make you a header designer, I dont claim to be one, but I only deal in proven products

Let me guess you don't download music or movies either. Sharing information is what the internet was based on, and sharing is great! I would love to know the exact specs on the entire racing beat exhaust system so I could copy it piece for piece but like $600 cheaper.

So rather than buying a product from someone who is making products for our cars, you decide to steal their research and labour? Hmm, wonder why no one makes products for FC's...

I buy my music through iTunes. I go see movies or rent them.

I don't steal. If you admit to being a thief, so be it, your hypocritical *** had better not complain when anyone steals your car.

And you wonder why vendors are spending money developing new items for our cars?

Really? No I don't wonder. What I do know is that most anything for a vehicle costs too damn much. So for people who don't have over $200 to spend on a header custom is the way to go. Now should people spend the money to research how to make an efficient header when the knowledge already exists? My answer is no, some people don't see it that way but I don't really care. People who don't want to custom fab their own can still buy RB's.

Homemade headers make a lot of power over the one that you buy because you make the header for the specific needs of the engine 2.25 to 2.50 would be fine for a street engine with biggers ports.

Not to sound like a *****, but i just hate when ppl bring this **** up.

Lets be completely ******* honest for a second. The main reason that vendors don't make parts for our car, is not due to other companies (and definetely not individuals) who rip off their products, it is simply because there is not a profitable market to sell their products.

Companies will continue to produce and engineer 350Z body kits regardless of the rip off kits on ebay. Why? Cause there is a market for it. People who can buy 350Z's also usually have more expendable cash than the average FC owner.

SO, lets all stop the ******* bullshit, shall we?

Sharing info on ideal tube length and diameter isnt putting SDJ or RB out of business, especially if danielsmith isnt mass producing these, and selling them at a lower price. EVEN then, its highly unlikely.

The Racing Beat header is among the best, so if your budget dictates a home built header, download & print a picture of the RB header & make it like that.

Mine was not as good as theirs, but it worked well.
I used the Mazdatrix DIY header kit.

You know what...
Before you go sticking your foot in your mouth, you should also do a search on the person you're trying to flame.
In this case, your very low post count implies you're a newbie at this, and building your reputation is important - drop the insults and listen more.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - if you can't afford to pay for parts, stop ******* with the car.

Semi-helpful hint - eBay is VERY GOOD at finding good, used parts.
