custom 4" downpipe?

im wondering who is running one and what bends they used to make a DP with.

Would two 45 degree bends do it? or do i have to make multiple bends to make it clear stuff?

i was thinking of ordering two of these and making it work.

summit racing

WLK-41430 $25.39
Legs (in): 8.00
Tubing Finish: Aluminized
Exhaust Tubing, 45 Degree, Elbow, 4 in. Diameter, 5 in. Radius, 15-Gauge, Steel, Each

with two of those and a little bit of straight 4" i should be able to do it right?

maybe the 30 degree bends would be a better angle?

then get a transition from http://burnsstainless.com/Transitions/transitions.html
to take it down to 3" right before the catback.

anyone have any info on this job?

The guys at corksport have done a 4" exhaust from downpipe to muffler. (A Magnaflow muffler and a Borla were in the system). It sounded sweet from the video I heard.

IMO.. if your going to do this.. Use all Stainless Steel and do it once.. Thats what I'm gonna do!!!

With how forward most manifolds stick the turbo, two 45's should do just fine.

any boost creep issues with 4 to 3? Also a 4 inch dp will be huge. I have a turbo vert and my 3 inch dp hits the vert cross member and needed to be dremeled out of the way.

4" 8) I've seen it on an eclipse gst at taco bell one night with 4" all the way back, out the side of the front bumper actually. It was freakin HUGE, he said he runs up to 29psi on the street. Don't know how he can drive it, its so dam loud and tractionless. How much boost are you running with that t-70?
