to get to RX-7 meets, haha.
i only drive my car 4-5 months of the year. i'm not really worried about mileage. the more i drive the car the better.

Isn't the idea of cruise control to set it at an acceptable speed?

Why wouldn't yo want to take a long trip in the 7? They are beautiful cars to drive, and I love driving. The argument of gas mileage is moot since, if you drive a 7 AT ALL, you're burning way more fuel than you would in a 4cyl beater.
And who cares about mileage?
I'll soon be rolling over 300,000kms in my DD N/A....thats something to be proud of. The TII only has 116,000kms but its only driven 4-5 months of the year...good LUCK putting on a tonne of mileage in that short time. Even if you take some long trips.

Sure, the part numbers are different, but either will operate either actuator. You can take a stock NA and bolt on a turbo actuator and it will work the same. When I had my turbo convertible, it kept the stock convertible NA cruise computer, but ran the turbo cruise actuator with no problems in the 3 years I had it.
