turbo 2 idleing at 3500

I have a 87 t2 with a atkins streetported motor, full blockoff,walbro255,750cc secondarys, aftermarket fpr,intake,fmic,and full 3 inch exhaust. I put my car in storage and had not started in in awhile and al the sudden its idleing at 3500 what should i check?????

is that just on start up? if it is then it's normal, a little high, but normal. it should come down after being warmed up. FAQ's. if it does it all the time I would check to see that the fast idle system isn't stuck.

Check for vaccum leaks. You can use a smoke machine or some propane to make it easier.

Whenever that happened to me it turned out to be lack of coolant. I had a bad leak and I could tell, when the car turned on, that it was being weird just by the way it idled at startup.

Check your coolant to make sure it's not frozen due to a bad mixture. I dunno where spearfish is so it's just a stab in the dark.

What have you checked so far?

i checked vaccum leaks and found none. What should i check next?

No its not just at start up its all the time no matter if its hot or cold you start it and it idles at 3500 and doesnt drop. Cant find any vaccume leaks.
