Crating and shipping engine, transmission

Does anyone have experience to share with me about crating and shipping an engine and transmision?
What kind of requirements for the container?
Do I need the engine and transmission seperated to fit on a pallet sized crate?

Suggestions and experiences welcome, pictures of engine/trrans ready to ship would be terrific.

Thanks

Jack

As long as it doesnt hang off the end of the pallet, and is secured so that you can stand the pallet up on end and the cargo doesnt shift more than 2 or 3 inches, you are good to go with most companies.
