crash bar on front end

has anyone evr thought about putting on some crash bars over the bumeper (much like the ones on large trucks and cop cars)?
i think it could be pretty cool. maybe 1.5" piping running to the tow hook spot ot the frame. i want to photoshop a pic up sometime, but i thought i would throw the idea out there first.

Maybe a nice set of steer horns like you used to see on 70s Eldorado convertibles would do the trick?

Maybe a car alarm is your best bet, or just park away form other cars.

car alarm? hows that going to help any? hahaha

i just think it would come in handy. i live in the somewhat country so i come close to a lot of deer. it would be unique, and stylish if done correctly.... but i guess back to the list of stupid ideas...

paint it black and call it "Barricade" lol :p

seriously tho, if having people back into your car in parking lots happens often... then dont drive the car as often as you already are, or be more careful where you park.

this really cant be helped tho as most ppl, to which i assume, own cars that are too big for their own needs and thus it means they are more prone to fender benders and curb checking.
SUVs and those grand marquis and crown vics are notorious for having massive blind spots. ever look at the drivers? mostly female who dont care what they drive as long as they have a "commanding view" of the road.

*edit* since you mention deer..... the best thing you could do is invest in a train horn lol. i've seen and heard of people having encounters of the third kind with deer.... i dont think darwin thought of deer and cars being into some sort of evolutionary picture lol.

I don't think an FC or any sports car would look too good with a crash bar. Its a sports car, not an off road machine. Thats just me though..

What you need is some sort of retractable bumper spikes, that way it'll still look fine when driving, but should someone run into you when parked, it's their car that gets damaged. MUAHAHAHAHA!

Seriously though, it'll look dumb.
