Unhappy cranking heavy

hey guys i hope someone can help me. my rx has been down for a while now, cause when i go to start it, it cranks heavy. sometimes it cranks normally. if i put a battery charger to it it will start right away most of the time. i replaced the starter, could it have gone bad again? where are the grounds located? other than that little problem it runs fine. i sure hope to have it running before February. any help from yall would be nice. anyone in satx e mail me.

I suspect a weak connection from the battery to the starter.
Battery clamps, cable terminals, even internal cable corrosion.
The rule is clean shiny bright metal-to-metal contact.

Feel the primary (thick) wires after trying to start.
A weak connection will get warm or even hot.

Do a compression check sounds like a bad rear apex seal .
