cracks on exhaust manifold

Are there any tolerances for cracks on the exhaust manifold? Mine has cracks on the engine-manifold surface. There are 3 cracks overall on the rear rotor exit. They are at the 2o'clock and 5 o'clock position. Will post pics later, blackberry sucks for pics....

I would say that if you had it off to see the cracks that you should not bolt it back on. You would be asking a lot out of the manifold gasket to seal the cracks, and then you would be hoping that the cracks did not get worse. I would replace it if it were mine.

I'd say it would be fine unless they are big and go all the way through.

When I was running a s5 turbo, that manifold was cracked all to hell, no leaks or anything, and I pushed that turbo very hard too...

Yeah, I have a bunch of smaller cracks in my mani and turbo hot side, but none clear through the cast.
