Exclamation couple of quick questions. please help

how often has anyone changed a temperature gauge for it showing wrong temperatures.

my gauge never hits high its exactly 3/4 up. my rx7 is always around 1/3.

how can i check for a blown coolant seal.

1) holy crap! you don't want it to EVER hit high! on the stock guage s4's should be sitting around 1/4 ish and s5's should be 1/2ish.

2) search "coolant seal test"

no, gauge just sits at 3/4 high. i have seen my buddy max his gauge at H. mine sits at 3/4. never goes any higher. sounds bad. but i just bought it and i just jumped it and was talking to the owner. i told him just let it run. it has 2 fans on it and both run constantly. then we heard the water level light buzzer go off. so i ran and checked it was low i put water in the over flow and the light went off. now idk. have to check everything.

Uhhhhhh....... you are'nt talking about the stock guages then are you? I hope not. Cuz if you're buddy "maxes" his out at H routinely on the stock guage, then either:

a) the guage is busted
b) your buddy is looking at a blown coolant seal or warped housings pretty soon!

on this rx7 i dont think the seal is blown it has only 90k on the motor

IS THE TEMP GUAGE STOCK!?!?!?!?!!? if it is...... find out if it is broken.... FAST!!!!! the stock guages are notoriously inprecise! just a little hot on those guages is freakin' hot! For the car's sake! PLEASE!
