Couple questions about putting S5 parts onto my S4

I have a 1988 vert and just bought a 1990 vert for parts.

Have a few general questions.

Is the S5/S4 NA exhaust the same setup? The S5 has a nice aftermarket one that I want to put on my S4 but just wanted to make sure before I do the swap.

I'm swapping the entire black interior from S5 into my S4 .. MY BIGGEST CONCERN are the door panels. Seeing as how the speakers don't line up with the mounts in the S4 ... will there be a problem with making mounts/mounting the speakers in the new position?

And I know I can use the search function for this .. but I'm unsure if the S5 N/A tranny will go into the S4?

Also, would there be any problem with putting the S5 N/A cluster into my S4? I know the S5 has up to 9000 and S4 is 8000 ... but is the 0-9000 the same size as the 8000 (which would screw up the reading of the rpms) ... or is is the 0-8000 the same size and the 8000-9000 added to it so the rpms wouldn't be messed up?

Also .. I'm about 99.5% sure I'm going to have no problem .. but the A/C components from S5 into my S4 ...should be no problem correct ?

Thanks
Jordan

The trannys will fit, but I think you need the correct tranny cradle. I'm honeslty not sure if it needs to match the car or the tranny, though, bu tI would think the car.
As for the A/C, the compressors have different hookups to the lines. If you are changing the lines as well, then its fine., This also assumes that they are both the same styles of a/c. There were two different systems, one by Sanden (factory, I think) and another by nippon-denso (dealer installed, I think). They are substantially different. If the hose connections on the compressor look similar then they should be the same maker.

The connectors on the S4 harness would need to be re-pinned to make the S5 cluster function properly. Not really worth the hassle.

I'm in the process of putting an s5 n/a tranny into my s4 n/a. Just make sure you have the s5 crossmember on the s5 tranny.
