cost of clean 10th Anniversary T2?

Im just wondering about how much the cost of a clean 10th Anniversary TurboII is worth...or how much you would pay for one...with about 50,000 miles on a rebuild...

Typically 10thAEs only sell for $500 to $1000 more than any other S4 turbo. How many miles are on it (must be a lot if it is on its second motor).

So average price (based on recorded sales and registrations not want ads) for a 88 Turbo with 150K miles and average condition is:
$800 for trade in
$1400 for private party sale
$2400 for dealer sale

Its worth $1000, maybe $1500 if you found someone that thought it was really special.

Miles are too high, to make it worth much

Assuming all the mechanicals are in good shape, that car looks to be in "Good" condition. It's worth about $2,000 or so.

BTW, the wheels are not on the car correctly. While this isn't a big deal, it means the owner is not very versed in cars. This may mean the car was not taken care of very well.

yeah if it had 100K miles less it would be worth $3-4K

And "freshly rebuilt" is less than 10k miles on the rebuild

Also, pay good attention to the gauges to make sure they work properly. Sometimes people screw them up when they install those aftermarket white gauge faces.

If everything was working perfectly and there was 50k on rebuild I'd throw $2500 out there. That is only if he doesn't take 2k :P

See Aaron's buying guide in the 2Gen FAQ.

With something this old, you need to realize that it's going to be a money pit. The turbo is going to be shot, the transmission (or at least the synchros) is going to need a rebuild, the driveshaft is most likely binding, the suspension is gone, the pulsation damper is most likely leaking, the exhaust has probably been replaced but the aftermarket items may even be toast by now, etc. There is a reason why these cars don't sell for very much.
