cosmos and fd alternators?

my thought rumble about the similarity and difference between both alternators... how much more amps does the cosmos put down? or are they both the same...

Don't quote me as Im not sure, but Ive been told that the cosmo and fd alternator's are the same. I am running a cosmo alt on my fc but I have never tested the amp's. It looks identical to the fd alt.

Silverrotor used to mod the S5 alts to work on a S4 car as a plug and play unit. He no longer offers this service though. If there are differences between the s4 and s5 unit i would say that there are similar differences in the s5 to s6 alts as well.
