I'm unsure if I can run a Cosmo oil pump in my S4. I know the turbo oil pump and the na pump are visually the same but the turbo has larger lobes. But the Cosmo oil pump has a galley on the side that I am unsure of. That being said which one flows more? The t2 or the cosmo? I have both so I'd like to know before I install it.

compare the rotor/gerotor widths.

 

the cosmo has the same guts as the turbo pump, but the different pattern makes it not work

 

i am running an FD pump, honestly im not sure if its the same or better its just what the builder told me to use

 

the oil feed to the pump was changed for the Cosmo and FD engines, and the S5 irons have the casting to add it, but the S4 don't.

 

You cant run a cosmo or fd pump on a s4 or s5.Bolt pattern is different.
