So any of these...

I had me engine striped down to the core a month ago, but i fail to recall which vac hose goes where in the plastic gasket. Abviously they must all be directly into the TB chamber to get vac pressure?

One more quick question.... My car is turbo.. so if i have to give it gas to keep the engine running, wouldnt that cause the vac hose to have + pressure and thus not ingest any seagfoam? However if i hold the gas at whatever rpm i guess the vac pressure would be negative.

No it needs to go to the nipple on the back of the UIM right next to the BACV that feeds the pressure sensor. You need a nipple that feeds both rotors.

You know a bucker of water will work as well right?

No you wont have positive pressure because you will not be under boost because you are not under a load.

So this nipple?? The one that hooks up to my BOV and boost sensor? I thought that that nipple only went to the rear rotor??

Ive being looking in the FSM and my own pictures or the UIM and i cant seem to find any info on if it goes to both rotors.

On S5 you have to T something to go to both rotors. Now im pulling memory from like 3 years ago I need to go look this **** back up lmao. I don't have any S5 stuff out in shop right now but I can pressurize some S4 stuff for you if u need tomorrow.

Ya exactly... im not sure if that nipple goes to both rotors...

Im pretty sure the TB vac hoses are vented inside the TB housing, this way the seafoam would reach both rotors. i guess i could take it apart quickly and find out..

Thanks.

^ no, that only goes to the rear rotor...

I figured it out...

FTW............................

Use the Oil injector Vac line on the back of the UIM/TB... Plug the Oil vac line onto the same size nipple on the top of the LIM (its right below the top fuel rail on the rear). Then use a peice of 6mm vac line 3 feet long and use that to suck the Seafoam into the TB... I took apart my TB to find out where that vac line went. It exits in the TB right where the primary TB butter flies are located.

Note: I have removed me emissions. So the nipple on the LIM was capped with a vac cap. You could use 6mm T if you wanted to.

Results: 5-10% differance... I was quite suprised. Worked well. LOT OF SMOKE!! And the smoke lasted a while (10-15 minutes after all the seafoam was used). I went for a drive while it was slightly smoking, but as soon as i put the gas down the smoke POURED out!!. I seem to have more low end power now too. This may be from cleaner spark plugs, either way lots of carbon was probably removed.

I would be kind of scared to do this on a high mileage engine though.. My engine is stock with 44 000km on it.
