Correct me If Im wrong.

The series 4 is the 86-88, and the series 5 is 89-91, correct? If not could someone clarify the diffrence for me. THANKS!

well... series five could be 89-92... but TECHNICALLY its just 89-91, the 92's were just 91's sold as 92's....

So are we now talking about cars sold worldwide, or just in north america?

And yes, I did know the FDs were available in 92, where they actually 92's though, or were they 93's sold in 92? (similar to the 92 FC's)

1500 1992 3rd gens were sold in England only as n/a's before they were released to the rest of the world. Little piece of trivia from one of my RX-7 books. Although I'm not from England and can't directly verify this. Just going by what I have in a book.
