Correct front cover gasket/oring?

Hi, I have an NA s4 and I can't decide if this is the correct gasket. I purchased rebuild kit A from Atkins and not sure if I should use the provided front cover gasket? Its not machined for the Teflon o ring, but it seems like theres a large hole on this gasket, see picture. Can I just trim off the portion of the gasket over the o ring, and keep the outer perimeter for sealing? want as much compression as possible over this o ring. Suggestion please.

Also, having a hard time choosing the correct o rings. This kit came with two O rings that i'm not sure if it's for the front cover. There's another O ring that is slightly smaller in diameter and thicker. Should I use that one for more compression/better seal? or does the one I have in the picture look correct.

I thought i'm suppose to use the 79-85 gasket? Not sure if this is the big/old style gasket.
