coolant temp

what is normal on the dash gauge? mine is always JUST (2mm maybe) below 1/2... it starts cold, warms up, and hits that point... is that bad? everyone seems to be talking about 1/4 being normal... i just had a new (used) radiator put in and new coolant hoses by kd rotary in PA... they saw nothing wrong with it... btw its an s5 na

S5's are suposed to read 1/2 way up the guage, your car is fine....
