Coolant routing

So i've had my motor taken apart for a while now and i can't remember where this coolant nipple goes. ok if u are looking at the motor from the front it is on the top of the block on left side in the back. I believe it is for the coolant that goes up by the intake for cold starts then goes back in by the thermostat is this right please help. Also which way does the coolant flow out of that hole, into the motor or out? And can i block it off? Thanks guys..

it will be a L shaped molded hose that will connect to the fitting on the lower part of throttle body.. it is the little bitch hose as everyone refers to it by.put on uim/tb then look in the back and you will know exactly what im talking about. also a tip is to buy a fd coolant hose which is about a foot in length but has the same shape and cut it to length. will be alot easier putting it on and off with the extra inch or 2 to work with
