Coolant in Oil From Where?

Aight, I have been checking my oil now and then and everytime I do It has risen higher. It now seems to have over 1 qt+ more then it should. I will be getting an oil change this weekend.

I called a place that analyses oil and asked them about it. I was going to send a sample to them but they asked what color the oil was , I told them it was a light brown with some dark brown. The manager said it was Glycol, no doubt about it. Which seem right but I can't figure out where coolant would get into the oil system. I asked if it was suppose to be creamy colored since some times thats what happends, he says just the way the oil is designed it tries to resist moisture or contaminents which is why its the color it is.

I was looking through the FSM and I will look at my spare housings too, but there are dowel pins on the drivers side top of the engine that start near the oil filter and go toward the front of the motor with seals. Could this be where the coolant is getting into the oil?

{UPDATE} - I looked at my spare housings and can only come up with the solution that maybe the outer O-Ring is leaking into the oil pan?

This was a rebuilt motor but I don't know how long ago and don't know if it was done right. S4 engine with a S5 rear housing. Could this be the cause? Mismatch of housings?

I tried smelling the oil but couldn't dicypher what it could be which is why I called.

There is no blow by from oil pan and no smoke from the exhaust coming from high revs so oil seals should be good.

Any other ideas PLEASE let me know.

Thanks
