Question coolant buzzer

hey guys, my buzzer keeps going off. It's not like a constant buzz, but only for about 1 minute, sometimes only 10 seconds. Coolant level seems ok. Temperature seems ok also. The buzzer doesnt stay on long enough for the temperature to go up. Any ideas? Thermostat maybe?

Yep, bleed the system, and check your oil level

on occasion.

I think there is some logic bulit into the '86 that causes a buzzer or light to go off if the driver has not experienced any problems for the past 24 hours. This keeps us on our toes.

(i love the car, but what a garage-queen.)

Not uncommon to have the light not work after 15+ years.

Remember the clock warning panels tend to get crusty with cold solder joints with age, as well as the solder joints in the gauge cluster.

Older the car, the less likely for the owner to even notice and many people don;t even read the owners manuals to know that the light should come on when starting, but go off after the car is running.
